Artistic Practice Statement

As a digital artist, I develop my work through two main creative approaches, both grounded in a fully personal authorship process.

First, I create artworks based on photographs that I personally capture. These images are not the final result, but rather the starting point of a digital artistic transformation process, in which I intervene through techniques such as editing, composition, color, lighting, and texture, ultimately constructing a new work with its own distinct aesthetic identity. In these cases, the original photograph is also my own, reinforcing the entirely original nature of the artwork.

Second, I develop artworks from my own original ideas, without relying on a specific photographic base. In these cases, the image is entirely constructed through digital tools, based on a prior artistic vision, where I define the composition, lighting, visual elements, and symbolic meaning of the piece.

In both approaches, the central element is creative direction and artistic decision-making, which are carried out exclusively by me. The digital tools used function solely as a medium of execution, comparable to traditional techniques such as painting or sculpture, and do not affect the authorship or originality of the final work.

This practice is part of contemporary digital art, where visual appearance—even when achieving a high level of realism—does not determine the origin of the work, but rather reflects a deliberate aesthetic intention
